About

The North Okanagan Employment Enhancement Society (NOEES) is a non-profit, charitable organization formed in 1988 to provide employment-related services to people in the North Okanagan.  Our mission is to help unemployed and under-employed people secure productive employment or self-employment.  NOEES is governed by a community-based, volunteer Board of Directors and our program funding is provided by the Province of BC.

As an organization, we strive to:

  • Provide modern, responsive, relevant, and effective employment-related services and programs for our clients; programs that help workers and employers seek and develop sustainable employment.
  • Be client-focused in all our program and service delivery.
  • Be flexible to our clients' needs including service location, content, delivery method and communication.
  • Continuously create new, and leverage existing, community relationships as well as local expertise and experience in order to facilitate successful outcomes for our clients.
  • Support all people in their career path including those with disabilities and those who face multiple barriers to employment.
  • Support our clients in achieving and sustaining successful outcomes, such as employment, as quickly as possible.
